To be perfectly honest, my life could use a little makeover. I’m not talking about the physical kind as that’s reserved for an entirely different post. I am talking about an attitude and personality overhaul. Don’t get me wrong, I am not the worst person you could ever meet but sometimes, I think I can be better. Don’t you feel that way, too? I can always read self-help books on being a better person but I’d rather learn by example. This is why I like to scour the Internet for blogs about inspiring people. Below are four posts with ladies would could be your muse.

Imagine you were a Victoria’s Secret model. You travel all over the world and you can wear all kinds of fabulous clothes. You meet the most interesting people and get invited to the most happening events. How would you spend your weekends? More of the same, right? But not Pania Rose. 2. Life Lessons from Bella

Bella is a dog but there are so many things that we can learn from out pets. This particular post is great because it gives so many tips (or reminders) on living a “bella life.” My favorites are “living in the moment,” “finding time to play,” “greeting others happily,” and “being a good friend.”

3. Vintage Muse

While I admire women who stick to dressing up like they belong to a particular era, I admire more those who can do more. Take this Helsinki Pinup Queen. She can cook and draw. If I compare my life to hers, mine would pale in comparison. This fascinating interview on her style and inspirations makes me want to change something drastic in my life. I even love the fact that she has a burlesque routine. Talk about living a fabulous life.

4. Happiness in Nature

This post is an interview with a writer who wrote about a simple housewife’s quest to find happiness despite cancer and other hurdles. This interview makes me want to read the book. I may not be the biggest nature-lover but I cannot deny the fact that there is something calming to being close to nature. It’s like your internal compass is being redirected to what is truly good for you by being close to nature alone.
